Sarah WhiteSheltering Silverton, informed us about Kimberly Cottage, a small house that is used by unhoused families who need temporary housing. The cottage opened in January and has housed 4 different families who have each called the cottage “home” for a month. We learned that, with the help of Sheltering Silverton, all families were able to move to permanent housing after the month they spent at the cottage.  Funds from 100 People Who Care will go towards the cost of the rent and utilities for this program.

Many of you made donations at the meeting last evening, but if you weren’t able to attend the meeting, you can submit a donation by check or by using an online link.  Please note that this is for “100 People donation.”
